We offer you the possibility of living an experience of solidarity and meeting with people who live in contexts of poverty, who have a different culture and with whom you will share work and experiences.
We offer you to join a team of volunteers who will carry out support and accompaniment to an ongoing project of ARCORES.

The tasks to be carried out by the team are defined by the Host Community, depending on the characteristics of the project and the profile of the volunteers.
Some frequent activities in our projects are: school support, leisure and free time, project management, English classes , Spanish, computers, music or basic health care, etc.
The length of stay in the field is 4 weeks.
The necessary conditions to be part of the ARCORES international volunteering are:
  • Be of legal age.
  • Inner motivation, free and without external conditioning or coercion.
  • Awareness of integration in a project from a solidary work that fights for a fairer and more humane reality.
  • Sense of responsibility, manifested in a serious and stable commitment.
  • Appropriate skills and attitudes for the service to be performed: balance, maturity, ability to relate and work as a team, ability to adapt.
  • Commitment to the social purposes and identity of ARCORES set forth in its Statutes.
  • Commit yourself to receive appropriate and integrated training in a continuous and dynamic process.
  • Have enough free time for the function to be performed.
  • Formalize, in writing, your request to ARCORES, following the procedures and deadlines that we establish in the entity.
  • That, knowing your rights in accordance with the Volunteering Law in force, motu proprio you commit to defray, through a donation to ARCORES, the cost of your trip to the project, as well as the expenses derived of your training and preparation, including vaccinations and other medical expenses.
  • That you are able, physically and psychologically, to carry out the Volunteering in the specific place in which it takes place.
  • Be willing to work as a team, carrying out the project together with the other volunteers.
  • Sign the Incorporation Agreement.
  • That you agree to carry out the scheduled evaluations of the Volunteer Project in which you are going to participate.
  • Preferably, you are part of a Community or Group of the Augustinian Recollect Family or have links with ARCORES.
  • That you acquire the commitment to be a disseminator of the lived experience and to continue working in solidarity for justice, peace and the care of creation.
  1. Joining a group - ARCORES will organize the groups of selected volunteers. For the formation of these groups, the following aspects, among others, will be taken into account: language of the receiving country, activity to be carried out, complementarity in the composition of the groups, previous experiences in international volunteering, etc. All groups are assigned a Group Coordinator.
  2. Training Process - Before traveling with your group of volunteers to an ARCORES project, you will have to complete face-to-face training consisting of a minimum of two weekend meetings and one celebration of sending the group by the ARCORES delegation or the reference community of said group.
  3. Carrying out the experience - In the country of destination, the volunteers will be received by a Host Community (normally a Community of religious or a social entity of the Family Agustino-Recoleta) who is responsible for the group. Usually, volunteers reside in said community and participate in its activities. The volunteers assume the identity and social purposes of ARCORES, as well as the Codes of Conduct with which they have committed. For ARCORES, volunteering in general, and international volunteering in particular, are its visible face in the places where they go and, in this sense, they acquire a particularly important responsibility.
  4. Evaluation of the volunteering experience - The participation of the volunteers in the evaluation is a commitment that is acquired when applying to participate in the International Volunteering. The Evaluation is made up of three elements: group evaluation, individual evaluation and community evaluation, to which must be added a specific moment dedicated to joint sharing.

We offer you to be part of one of the ARCORES teams spread across the different countries and locations where we are present.

We have a task for you, where you can do and contribute with your work and commitment to make the ARCORES Mission a reality.
  • Organization and performance of fundraising activities: markets, solidarity races, raffles, etc.
  • Administration and accounting tasks.
  • Partner recruitment.
  • Filing, documentation and shipment management tasks.
  • Computer maintenance and development.
  • Relationship and dialogue with public and private funds.
  • Accompaniment of other volunteers.
  • Communication and dissemination tasks of the activity.
  • Any other task necessary for the development of the ARCORES action plans, for which the volunteer has the capacity and will to carry it out.

  • Be of legal age.
