On November 7, Friar Miguel Angel Hernandez, Prior of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova of the Order of Augustinian Recollects, visited one of the projects currently being implemented by ARCORES Peru. It is a project to provide drinking water for the communities of Pingobamba and Chulit Bajo.
The project is being carried out thanks to the financial support of the Government of La Rioja (Spain), which has contributed the amount of 186,000 €, and when completed will guarantee drinking water service for 1,187 people.
Miguel Angel Hernandez visited the water reservoirs of both systems in the mountains, together with Fr. Angel Herran and Fr. Jose Estevas, respectively president and treasurer of ARCORES Peru. We are thankful to Miguel Ángel for the continued support of the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova to the work of ARCORES.
