Third assembly

Last Sunday, December 11, ARCORES Dominicana held its third ordinary assembly at the Parish of Our Lady of Consolation, in San Cristobal, to give its customary rendering of accounts of the hard work done throughout 2022 and the planning and decision-making on important issues for 2023. This assembly was attended by 16 people, among them, the executive committee and delegates of the social pastoral, St. Rita School, Secular Fraternity, projects and dispensaries.

The strategic plan 2023-2025 of ARCORES Dominicana was discussed, and the importance of promoting it to reach more people was highlighted. In addition, the general and project accounts were presented, and several projects were proposed for the immediate future: accompaniment and legal assistance to foreigners and assistance to homeless people on the streets, the “great dream” of Cruz Echeverría, president of the Solidarity Network in the Dominican Republic. The next assembly will be extraordinary, in the first months of 2023, to deal, among other issues, with the replacement of some members of the commission.
